can't connect after purchase

I've been using the trial version for a while, then after purchasing I'm not able to connect to our remote server. It's a timeout error. the VPN connects fine, but trying to sudo or filezilla time out.
is there an error log or anything I can see?

If you're still encountering connection difficulties, please send us a copy of the details listed in the following article and we can take a closer look for you. Purchasing a standard license won't affect the behaviour of your VPN connection (Viscosity's trial period is fully functional), however if something else is amiss it should hopefully be listed in the connection log.
