VPN via WLAN doesnt work
Got a problem with Viscosity or need help? Ask here!
Hi folks,
i got a problem with one of my Win7 Pro SP1 Laptops. Up until now i had a trial Version of Viscosity running and everything worked fine. Last week i put in my Licenz and ran the Update to 1.4.8.
Since then i cant Connect to my VPN via WLAN, everytime the VPN Adapter gets startet the WLAN Adapter goes offline.
I had this Problem on another Maschine but it pretty much fixed itself the last time around.
I tried re-installing Viscosity, re-installing network drivers but nothing really helps.
Thanks for any Input and if you need some Logs just let me know

Hi osc2000,
Some logs would certainly help if you could, both OpenVPN, and also have a look at the System log in Event Viewer to see if it shows anything about the status of the WLAN adapter - http://www.sparklabs.com/support/viswin_event_viewer/
Just to confirm as well, your WLAN is disconnecting/dropping as the Viscosity adapter is enabled, not as OpenVPN connects?
Regards,
Eric

Hey Eric,
i have determined that the problem itself does not lie within the Viscosity Adapter, rather the WLan Adapter disconects when a wired, or in the chase of Viscosity a Virtual wired connection is established.
At this point i am guessing that has to do with some energy saving options that disconnects adapters to save energy.
Thanks for your reply, if something comes up again i will be back
