Congratulations to creating such a great app!
Im using OpenVPN to Connect to the RWTH Aachen Network, Im also running a OpenVPN Server on my Parents Router (Tomato) to help them Troubleshoot (send them data, VNC etc).

When connecting to the later, everything works fine, but the Client IP is wrong (its the first IP that the Computer automatically assignes to itself before getting the Ip via DHCP).

I also made this Screenshot:

Im running my Server via Bridging.

Best regards!

Hi Moritz,

Thanks for the bug report.

Viscosity will detect the first IP assigned to the interface. In this case it's taking awhile for your interface to be assigned an IP by the DHCP server, so Mac OS X is giving it a self-assigned IP first (which Viscosity is then assuming is the correct IP). I'll see what can be done to the next update of Viscosity so it will continue listening for IP changes if the interface has a self-assigned IP.

Cheers,
James
