Hi!

I bought the Viscosity Client.
My company use RSA auth for Openvpn VPN connection.
Works good! and only the Viscosity client work on my M1 Mac 😊 (Windows machine also!)

One little thing:
Any way to set or hidden options, to make the RSA auth code visible if i enter?
Not only dots?

This key not secure, and it would be nice to see while I type.
Ahead of some misstyping...

Thanks!

One more Thig:

Any way to fix mac address the virtual adapter?

The lladdr client conf command not work for me 😞

Thanx!

Hi rob,

Great to hear Viscosity is working well for you!
Any way to set or hidden options, to make the RSA auth code visible if i enter?
If you're entering your OTP code into the normal username/password prompt, then I'm afraid not. However if you instead configure your connection to prompt for the OTP separately as a challenge request, then what you enter will be visible.

Basically an OpenVPN challenge request is a seperate prompt, and it is designed for prompting for two-factor credentials like OTPs. This allows you to save your username and password, while still being prompted for your two-factor credentials. I'm afraid we don't have any explicit guides for how to configure the server to prompt separately for a RSA device, but the process will be very similar to the guides linked below:
https://www.sparklabs.com/support/kb/ca ... up-guides/

You may like to reach out to your VPN administrator and see if a challenge request can be implemented. If it is a "dynamic challenge" no changes will need to be made client side.

Any way to fix mac address the virtual adapter?
Custom MAC addresses are supported. You should be able to use the lladdr command in the advanced area for your connection. For example "lladdr 11:22:33:44:55:66" (without the quotes). If it isn't working make sure the MAC address you're attempting to use is valid and using the correct syntax (e.g. use of colons like in the previous example). Also make sure the MAC address being set isn't already in use on a different network interface.

Cheers,
James
