Viscosity - Has Been Disconnected
Got a problem with Viscosity or need help? Ask here!
Hello,
I've been using Viscosity for years without issues. All of sudden, I'm unable to connect to any locations. I get the 'The connect xxxxxx' has been disconnected'.
I tried to troubleshoot and here's the error message I found in my logs. Can someone please tell me what it means?
VERIFY ERROR: depth=1, error=certificate has expired: C=US, ST=OH, L=Columbus, O=Private Internet Access, CN=Private Internet Access CA, emailAddress=[email protected]

You will need to get in touch with your VPN Provider in this instance and seek some updated VPN configuration files to import into Viscosity. The error message is indicating a certificate has expired, which are used by the VPN client/server to authenticate.
You VPN Provider appears to be "Private Internet Access". For more information please see:
