Hi AroundTheWorld, They are normal messages. If there is an error message it's possible it doesn't contain either "Viscosity" or "OpenVPN" in the message, in which case you may like to try the following: 1. Open the Console as instructed here 2. Instead of entering a filter term,...

Hi John, This is a bit of a tricky one to diagnose. If you're in control of the servers and able to create test accounts, let us know and we can have a play from our end. Otherwise, some points: 1. The second VPN interface appears to be getting assigned two IPv4 addresses (10.6.96.92, 10.6.99.79), w...

Thanks for the extra info.
Ok, how do you get on if you connect both VPN connections, and then run the following command in the Terminal?

Hi dyerucf, Thanks for including your routing tables. Would you be able to post the output from running the "ifconfig" command in the Terminal? Are you able to ping 172.16.250.1 while connected to both? Would you also be able to post the output from running "route get 172.16.250.1&quo...

Hi Peter, This is probably something you're best getting in contact with your VPN provider about. Your VPN provider should be able to advise you from their end what is going on. If you are unsure who your VPN provider is please see: http://www.thesparklabs.com/support/how_do_i_find_out_who_my_vpn_p/...

Hi firez,
Are you using Viscosity in English, or another language? There is a known issue when Viscosity is running using the Italian localization where it does not correctly save the comp-lzo option (this will be fixed up in the next release).
Cheers,
James

Hi swill, It sounds like NAT hasn't been setup on the remote server. You'll need to setup NAT using iptables and then enable IP forwarding (echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward). It's also worth checking that if you've setup a firewall on the server it isn't blocking VPN client traffic. Cheers, Ja...

Hi erik68, I've disabled Back To My Mac as per another thread, but that hasn't changed anything (which is normal since it uses tun0 rather than tap0) Your log above indicates otherwise - it shows that your connection is using a TAP interface. Perhaps you are supposed to be using a TUN interface? Bac...

Hi gmcinnes, Well a utun is typically a VPN connection interface. The only reason I can think of that MobileMe might create one is for "Back to My Mac". You could try turning this off and see what happens. You can do this by going to Apple Menu->System Preferences->MobileMe->Back to My Mac...
