Hi Jordon, Just a quick follow-up: if your connection happens to also use WINS servers it may be affected by regression in the update. We've pushed out an updated build (1641) to address this. You can update to this from inside Viscosity by opening the Settings window, clicking the General tab, and ...

Hi gerwim, The rapid "DNS Engine Running" messages likely indicate that something on your machine is terminating Viscosity's DNS process (com.viscosityvpn.ViscosityHelper). I recommend you try temporarily disabling any tools that could potentially cause this (such as firewall software, end...

Hi Jordon, We'll need to see the full logs and configuration to get an idea of what may be going on. Please let us know the items listed in the following article (for both connections) and we can take a closer look for you. Please feel free to email these to us if you'd prefer for them to not be pos...

Glad to hear it worked.

The warning can be safely ignored: as the IPv4 configuration is coming from outside of OpenVPN (in this instance DHCP by macOS), OpenVPN itself isn't aware of the IP configuration.

Cheers,

Hi swixo, If your VPN connection's IP address is being assigned by DHCP, you'll likely want the VPN connection to wait for this assignment to take place first. You can do this like so: 1. Open the Settings window and Edit your connection 2. Click on the Advanced tab 3. On a new line in the commands ...

Hi Shabang, Thanks for the report, it appears you've discovered a regression in a recent update. It appears that in some conditions Viscosity may still load existing saved login details from the Keychain even with the KeyChainSupport setting disabled. This should now be fixed in the latest beta vers...

Hi daniel, To use a Viscosity VPN connection on the host from inside a VM guest, you'll need to make sure the VM is configured to use NAT rather than Bridged mode on the network adapter. In UTM you can configure this by editing your VM, going to Network (under Devices), and changing the Network Mode...

Hi cellulosa, I'm afraid we don't have an ETA for an "application routing" style feature. The information in the Routing Traffic For Websites & Applications KB article still applies: We are currently working on adding a feature to Viscosity so applications can be easily routed through ...

Hi Bryan, We're working on putting an updated beta build together to hopefully address this. It should be available soon - please keep an eye out for it. However I should add that there will be instances where Viscosity is unable to maintain the VPN connection when connecting a new underlying networ...

Hi Altair, We're not aware of any reachability detection issues with the latest beta version, however some connections may need updating for OpenVPN 2.5 (as OpenVPN 2.4 was removed in version 1.10.5). If you'd like for us to take a closer look for you please send along the following items when runni...
