Hi ap0llo,

Great to see you found a solution. Windows 8.1 is doing some odd things with non Microsoft certificates during an upgrade, we're hoping this is resolved for the actual release.

A stand alone install of Windows 8.1 (not an upgrade) sees no problems with Viscosity at all.

Regards,

Eric

Hi ggg777, Just need to determine exactly what you are trying to do. Am I correct in saying you have written this script in the event of an unexpected dropout? When this drop out occurs, can you describe exactly what you would like to occur. I am assuming you want to cut access to the internet while...

Hi stripecat, Are you able to replicate this behaviour? Are you also sure that you reconnected to the same connection and ticked the box to save your credentials? If you do experience the problem again, you may wish to try the latest beta, a very minor password bug was fixed in this beta that might ...

Hi cscholz,

Please try adding the following line to the Advanced commands section in your configuration:

ip-win32 netsh

This will force OpenVPN to do what Viscosity is trying to do in the first instance and hopefully resolve the issue you are facing.

Eric

Hi Zelg, At first glance, it would seem that your VPN Provider is having some network issues. I would definitely contact them to confirm this before going through too much effort chopping and changing settings on your computer. The main things to check on your end are that your firewall and router a...

Hi Zelg,

One last thing to try, move the vbs script to your C drive, then open notepad. Type/paste in the following
Code: Select all
@echo off
start C:\yourscript.vbs
Save this as "script.bat" then use it as your Disconnect script.

Eric

Hi Zelg, I'm afraid I'm a bit stumped. As your Hello script is working and we can get it working here, it must be a permissions problem. Running Viscosity with Run As Administrator give the application full rights, there is nothing else you need to do to run with Admin rights (providing you are then...

Hi Zelg, The script is working fine in our test environment on the version of Viscosity you are using. Are you explicitly running Viscosity with Right click -> Run as Adminitrator? Also try running Viscosity without Admin rights as uTorrent may be shielded from other user accounts when it is run. Al...

Hi Zelg,

Could you please post up a copy of your script and we will have a look to see if there's anything in Viscosity or the script going wrong.

Regards,

Eric
