Hi SallyOh,
I'm afraid I'm not exactly sure of the difficulty you are facing. Are you trying to have Viscosity connect after you login and it's failing? Are you able to send us a copy of the OpenVPN log when it fails? Or does Viscosity not attempt to start at login at all?
Regards,
Eric

Hi tridy, Integrating the Viscosity adapter into a Virtual Switch I'm afraid is something I've never seen done before, I'm actually slightly surprised your VPN tunnel is working at all as the Virtual Switch will try to hide it from applications in favour of the switch itself. I'm not sure there is a...

Hi summoner23, Viscosity does not have this feature I'm afraid, though it is a feature planned for a future release. In the mean time, Viscosity does support scripting, which can be used to terminate programs or even kill your connection once you disconnect from your VPN. Some of our users have sugg...

Hi vpeshov, Viscosity is designed for the certificates to be stored with the connection profile, I'm afraid I'm unaware of anyone using Viscosity like this. Saying that though, there could be another option that is causing the crash that Viscosity is not handling correctly that could be causing the ...

Hi languy, The OpenVPN method of setting dhcp unfortunately can have problems in Win7 & 8 due to updates to these OSes. We are continually working on trying to perfect Viscosity to recover from these dhcp failures. We would love to help you get this problem solved in your case though. If you are...

Hi S4L,
It sounds like your VPN Provider is rejecting your login, you will need to contact them. If you're unsure who your VPN Provider is, please see the following - http://sparklabs.com/support/how_do_i_f ... _my_vpn_p/

Hi ap0llo,
Great to see you found a solution. Windows 8.1 is doing some odd things with non Microsoft certificates during an upgrade, we're hoping this is resolved for the actual release.
A stand alone install of Windows 8.1 (not an upgrade) sees no problems with Viscosity at all.

Eric

Hi ggg777, Just need to determine exactly what you are trying to do. Am I correct in saying you have written this script in the event of an unexpected dropout? When this drop out occurs, can you describe exactly what you would like to occur. I am assuming you want to cut access to the internet while...

Hi stripecat, Are you able to replicate this behaviour? Are you also sure that you reconnected to the same connection and ticked the box to save your credentials? If you do experience the problem again, you may wish to try the latest beta, a very minor password bug was fixed in this beta that might ...

Hi cscholz,
Please try adding the following line to the Advanced commands section in your configuration:
ip-win32 netsh
This will force OpenVPN to do what Viscosity is trying to do in the first instance and hopefully resolve the issue you are facing.
