Just an update on this. We've found the issue and it is indeed isolated to those who run a higher DPI in windows than standard. We're hoping to have a beta up by the weekend which resolved the issue.

Cheers,

Thanks for your help there Ryan, I have a feeling I know what caused it, I will add something to the next version to hopefully prevent it ever occuring again. One of those things where all the planets align, I doubt I'm ever going to be able to replicate on our test machines. Thanks again! Cheers, E...

Hi cfchase,

Are you running Windows with an increased DPI? I.e. you've changed a setting to make everything appear larger?

Hi Ryan,

Thanks for reporting this! Do you know how much data had passed through the connection before the freeze? After the resize which fixed the problem, has it happened again?

Cheers,

Eric

Hi Filipp,

Are you using the Windows or Mac version of Viscosity? Are you setting the Direction to 1 in the client as well?

Cheers,

Eric

Hi Ian,

The latest release should have fixed this issue. We've had confirmations from several people that they no longer encounter this crash.

Are you using version 1.3.3?

Cheers,

Eric

Hi TIA, We highly recommend you use Viscosity's inbuilt script support. In the Advanced tab, you will find options to select a connected and disconnected script. You can simply select your updown.bat script in both of these areas and Viscosity will run them. For more information on scripting, you ca...

Hi endre.lovas, There is a new beta build up. Could you let us know if you still experience the problems with it? http://www.thesparklabs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=482&p=1593#p1593 If so, does the same problem occur when creating a new connection? (Go to + -> New connection, put something into t...
