Hi haraldh, I certainly do understand what you are saying, however OpenVPN defaults to IPv4 first. We did prefer the happy eyeballs approach for a long time, however this generated a lot of complaints and we switched back to preferring IPv4 where available to keep in line with vanilla OpenVPN. This ...

Hi haraldh, Thanks for the feedback. We'll take a look into adding an option that would allow IPv6 to be preferred for a future release. In the mean time, this can be achieved by adding your address twice with different protocols. Simply set you Protocol drop down to UPD6, then add your address a se...

Hi glixglax2, We don't recommend making changes to the Windows System files. Could you please post the issues you're having with the driver, preferably an error message from Device Manager, and we can take a look. If you're adamant on removing these files, you will need to take control of them to re...

Hi Dennis, We have some information about this error here - https://sparklabs.com/support/kb/article/error-tls-error-tls-key-negotiation-failed-to-occur-within-60-seconds/ By your description and what you've tried, it sounds like a firewall or other security software is blocking OpenVPN and/or Visco...

Hi troveitech, Try removing the persist-key option from your config, though I'm not sure it will help in this case. OpenVPN will try authentication for up to a minute each cycle, so it may take 2-3 minutes to reconnect after a drop out sometimes depending on how long your internet connection is down...

Hi kderby, Thanks for your post, much appreciated! @aapje, I'm afraid with the gateway removed and the DNS option, you effectively have the same setup as you do with OpenVPN GUI. Unfortunately I think Office is maintaining it's connection outside the VPN when using OpenVPN GUI. If you connect with O...

Hi aapje,

Could you please disconnect, then go to Preferences -> Advanced, tick "Use Windows DNS System for Full DNS", reconnect and try again.
