Hi, Entering a netmask or bit prefix into the "Mask/Bits" field allows you to route a range of IP addresses. For example, entering "192.168.0.0" into the Destination field, and "16" (or "255.255.0.0") into the Mask/Bits field would create a route for all 192.168.x.x addresses. If you're unfamiliar ...

Hi, Thanks for your feedback. Viscosity follows a semi-asynchronous model for scripting. This is because a VPN connection has far more than two states (Disconnected/Connected) and there are situations where it may never return. While I can understand it would be nice if the connect command simply ...

Hi, Something is likely blocking your access to the update server, or something is caching an old version of the update feed. Make sure no firewall or security software on your computer could be blocking Viscosity from performing an update check. Also make sure checks are not being blocked by any ...

Hi, OpenVPN 2.6 removes support for the "ncp-disable" command - it has been deprecated for several years. You can follow the instructions in the following link to remove it, which should get your connection working again: https://www.sparklabs.com/support/kb/article/migrating-from-openvpn-2-5-to ...

Hi chris, Thank you for posting your connection log. Can you please try with the latest beta version (1.11b8)? If all goes well, you should see a "Error: Server Encryption Cipher Disallowed" alert pop up, with an offer to allow the use of the cipher your OpenVPN server wants to use. If you don't see ...

Hi, I'm afraid that is not something that Viscosity has inbuilt support for. However you have a couple of options: 1. You could setup multiple SOCKS proxies (either on each VPN server listening on the internal VPN IP, or on a server/computer that will go through the VPN connection) and then set up ...

Viscosity will display such an error if it can't contact the server's API at all, or if it returns an invalid status code. Your best bet is to check the web logs on the server and see whether the import request is reaching the server at all. If it is, check what status code is being return and ...
