Hi Eric, thanks for the quick reply, I'm glad I was able to help find you the underlying issue. I've been trying my hardest to make it fail for the last 15 minutes, however it seems like everything's working fine now :D Awesome, thank you very much for the great support (and also technical insight a...

Hi, I've been seeing a similar issue over the last few weeks, although I unfortunately cannot pinpoint exactly when they started happening anymore - I did however update Viscosity to 1.9 (and as of a few days ago, to the latest beta) recently, so the timing might coincide. Same as dkaczmark, I'm see...

Hello Eric,
thanks for the reply and insight! Greatly appreciated you're looking into a possible fix for future versions, I'll just switch to using IPs or will use one of my other connections again until those break too
Thanks for the help anyways!

I've had something similar appear again and tried the "remote-random-hostname" option you've mentioned. I'm trying to connect to proxy.sh's Netherlands hub (nl.proxy.sh) which contains the following IPs according to a simple nslookup: Address: 94.102.55.186 Address: 95.47.140.174 Address: ...

Hi Eric, thanks for the quick response. I've added the command to the configuration and it does indeed change the behaviour. However, since the currently "buggy" connection just has 2 servers, the randomisation could be a bit "non-random", since I'm always seeing the second IP be...

I've run into a quite weird problem with Viscosity lately (using Viscosity 1.4.7 (1216) on Windows 8.1 Pro): I'm using a VPN package from proxy.sh and have set up multiple connections to several of their servers (e.g. Netherlands, Germany, Austria, etc...) which all use hostnames to round-robin thro...

Not 100% sure about this, since I've just run the Windows-Version with some DNS-scripts, but my best guess is that Viscosity instantly tries to re-establish connection and thus doesn't even go to the "disconnected" state (unless the reconnect-attempt fails, but that's just another guess ag...

Hi Eric, no problem at all, thanks for the response! I'll try to play around with the ConnectOnWakeDelay to see if it fixes the problem of my laptop's slow wifi-adapter. No problem about the global preferences, it was just out of interest because you mentioned it in the changelog ;) Glad I could hel...

I hope this is the right thread to post in, apologies if it isn't! Quick feedback for the latest beta 1.4.3b1: German Translation: Within the main "settings" -> "general" window, the new German translation for "Check for Updates" is "too long" for the button (...
