I connected and was able to google and geoip.hidemyass.com (for the first time connected I saw that my IP address was not the new HMA VPN as per usual but I thought this meant my openvpn was working!) Well it did for a few seconds.. then I was not able to open any websites.

I troubleshooted it, and thought maybe the firewall... so
I enabled the openvpn.exe and openvpn files to my windows firewall

still no internet...

I opened up my network connections and edited my internet protocol version 4 tcp/ipv4 properties to DNS google 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4..

I thought this would fix it but no.. not internet still....

This is my log.

What more do I need to do!

Thank you in advance!

Hi Pindie,

The log you posted indicates a successful connection attempt. Could you please post a copy of your IP Tables and Route tables and we can see if that indicates what is going on.

To get these, type the following into a command prompt window one after the other:

ipconfig -all
route print

Hi Pindie,

It looks like you are connected to two VPN connections which are attempting to route all traffic at the same time, this is probably causing the issue as this can cause clashes in routing and adapters. If you are not, you might just have a stuck OpenVPN process or routes, in which case rebooting your PC will resolve this issue.
