I upgraded to 1.7.5 (Mac high sierra). When I click Quit Viscosity now, instead it prompts me for a username / password to one of the openvpn connections. Also, can't start the connection editor. When I click Details or Preferences, I get a similar prompt to enter a username / password for one of the openvpn connections. Any suggestions?

Hi MikeJ_105,

It seems likely the wrong menu item is being triggered - like one of your connection's menu items is receiving the click instead of what you're actually clicking on. It sounds like it must be a 10.13 bug - we've never heard of anything like that before, and Viscosity's menu logic is fairly standard. I'd recommend waiting for 10.13.1 if you can and see if the issue persist (or update to the current 10.13.1 beta).

That said, there is a known issue where if Viscosity's menu is very very long (and so off the bottom edge of your screen) under 10.12.x and 10.13.0, and you use the scroll wheel (or trackpad scrolling) to scroll through the menu, the menu item rendering and highlighting can get out of sync. We've reported this issue to Apple. The solution in the meantime is to organise your connections into folders to reduce the length of the menu.

Cheers,
James
