I realize this may be a problem with my implementation of openvpn and not necessarily with Viscosity but: my https connections from the client keep timing out (i.e https://www.gmail.com). Anyone else having/had this problem? Thanks in advance.

Hi pmode12,

Can you get to the HTTP version of the same website (e.g. http://www.viscosityvpn.com/ but not https://www.viscosityvpn.com/ )? If so, I'd recommend first checking any firewalls to make sure traffic on port 443 is allowed through. I'd also recommend you check to make sure you don't have a proxy set for HTTPS connections. You can check this under the Apple Menu-System Preferences->Network->Airport/Ethernet->Advanced-Proxies->Secure Web Proxy.

Cheers
