Hi,

I open another topic on this. I am on 10.6.2
Viscosity tells that I am connected, but I do not receive an IP.
On the other side, the server tells that I am connected and that the IP has been sent.
The settings should be good, as they are exactly the same than for Tunnelblick (last version of Tunnelblick connects well, from the same machine).

Two more informations:
- in the log (verb 4) the line MANAGEMENT: CMD 'status' is repeating
- netstat does not show the routing tables that should be added by Viscosity/openVPN after the connexion.

Hope this helps getting a solution to the problem.

Hi Fsare,

Is this a TAP based or a TUN based connection?

If the IP address is being pushed out via OpenVPN make sure you have the "Pull Options" checkbox is ticked (under the Options tab when editing your connection).

If it is TAP based, try toggling the "Enable DHCP" option under the General tab.

Cheers,
James

Hi James,

It is a tun based connection.
Pull Options was not checked.

Sorry I did not test checking/unchecking this option.
It is true that I have configured Viscosity through directly importing the « Linux » configuration file of OpenVPN (not from Tunnelblick, as in my first tests I did not had installed it).

Thanks.
