It should be a certificate, if it is, importing the .ovpn file should also import the certificate automatically, otherwise you might have to edit the...

Hi Ingenuus, Could you please post a copy of your OpenVPN log when a reconnect is failing. Please note, if you a disconnect manually, a reconnect will not be reattempted, only on a drop out. On Windows, Persist Tun and Persist Key should not be checked to improve the chances of a connection being re...

Hi Ingenuus, To answer each of your questions: 1. In the event of a drop-out, Viscosity will attempt to automatically reconnect where it can. If you wish for Viscosity to be more aggressive in reconnecting, you will need to use a couple of advanced commands and scripting support. I'm afraid Viscosit...

Hi Hest,
If the IP addresses in that post are still current, a /24 netmask is 255.255.255.0 and the gateway so it is routed through your VPN needs to be "VPN Gateway" from the drop down list. You can leave the Metric blank.
Regards,
Eric

Hi markusj, There are two versions, 2.2 and 2.3, which one you would like to use can be changed in the Advanced tab of Preferences. 2.2 is still included as some older server setups can't be connected to with OpenVPN 2.3. The single adapter model was introduced by popular request. To date, Viscosity...

Hi osc2000, Some logs would certainly help if you could, both OpenVPN, and also have a look at the System log in Event Viewer to see if it shows anything about the status of the WLAN adapter - http://www.sparklabs.com/support/viswin_event_viewer/ Just to confirm as well, your WLAN is disconnecting/d...
