Check in the advanced section of the connection settings, under additional commands. If you have a line for keep alive, delete it.

2 machines, both running Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit, SP 1. Both upgraded to 1.3.6 (1138) - one was running an older version for months, the other upgraded because the version I downloaded yesterday was apparently a few builds behind. Neither of them will save the VPN credentials any more. Tried cha...

What I don't understand is why this only became an issue very recently. Since the first of the year.

But thanks for directing me toward that script - I'll take a look.

Not Viscosity specific, seems to be an OpenVPN issue. When the DHCP lease on the local network gets renewed, the DNS server assigned by local DHCP gets wiped out, leaving only the DHCP server on VPN. So users can't resolve anything but VPN resources. Anyone else seen anything like this? Anyone have ...

It's in the details pane for the connection - NOTE: OpenVPN 2.1 requires '-script-security 2' or higher to call user-defined scripts or executables. Interesting for 2 reasons, I think. One, we aren't calling any user defined scripts or executables with this configuration. And two, unless I'm mistake...

It was installing OK, no errors, but would hang when it tried to connect. Service wouldn't start on reboot, actually had no status. When I started the service manually, I could get it to connect. Once I stopped letting the connection create and use its own adapter, everything started working. It did...

Works. Awesome. Thanks.

Now, is there a way to use my 50 seat license for Mac to license the Windows version?

I had the exact same problem on Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit. Trying to get Viscosity to connect to VPN on login. Made some progress with it, Viscosity now starts and can connect every time, but does not log into the VPN automatically, icon goes directly to disconnected. But here's what I did. Uninst...

I've been trying to get split DNS working for days. Writing AppleScripts, etc... Installed 1.3.2b2, checked Apply DNS Settings Simultaneously and viola, working split DNS. Key word is working - VPN domain is accessible, external domains are accessible, performance is now great. This has been too tho...
